Hello,
We are a group of senior professors at MANIT.Unable to write our names because of fear of physical violence by these goons against us and our family.We fully agree with all what is being published in newspapers or reported elsewhere.We wish to bring to everybody's notice some other important facts regarding how this institute is run by Sanjeev Saxena Incorporation,who are the key members and what roles are being played by them.The list is mindboggling :-
(1)Mrs.Aruna Saxena : She is a passout of this college and the wife of Sanjeev Saxena.She joined the institute in 1998 when the then director Mr.Y.K.Sharma took money from Sanjeev Saxena and signed her appointment letter on his last day in the office.She was a lecturer only till 2005 when suddenly she jumped two levels and became a professor in 2005 flouting all standard norms.This elevation is totally illegal and inspite of being reported in the Butch committee report,no action has been taken on this.After being elevated to the level of professor,she was immediately made Prof.Incharge(Training & Placement).This very important position gives her immense power to exercise control over the students.No student can oppose Sanjeev Saxena or his goons for fear of not only violense/physical assault but fear of losing placement opportunities also.She also sees to it that most companies visiting MANIT also visit Sanjeev Saxena's college Radharaman Institute.She has been provided with a luxurious room in the college and all A-class facilities including an advanced laptop worth almost Rs.3 lacs when even senior faculty members are struggling to get an ordinary desktop woth Rs.30-40,000 from the college.
(2)Ashutosh Sharma:He is Dean(Admin)and by virtue of this position is next to the director only.He is always the Incharge director in regular director's absence and uses his official powers in such an arbitrary manner that people cannt even imagine.He terrorises people not clost to sanjeev saxena and tortures them by way of depriving them of their normal post-related rights.He is amongst the most well-known agents of sanjeev saxena in the college.Coming from an ordinary middle-class background(his father retired as a professor from the same instt.),he has made crores of money over the last six-seven years thanks to his proximity to sanjeev saxena and some politicians.He has invested a significant amount of his money in a hospital run by his sister and brother inlaw.The hospital is known as Narmada Hospital and is in the most posh location(Arera Colony)of Bhopal.The land on which the hospital is built is worth crores of rupees and it is anybody's guess where the money came from.It should be noted that his sister and sister's husband Dr.Rajesh Sharma were practising at Hoshangabad prior to shifting their base to Bhopal recently.How can anybody earn crores of rupees in a very small place like Hoshangabad?Perhaps the Income tax authorities should take some interest in examining this because if properly investigated,this guy Ashutosh Sharma can prove out to be another Yogiraj Sharma.
(3)R.K.Baghel:This guy has joined the institute on a Scheduled Caste Certificate which has always been under a cloud. Whether the certificate is fake or genuine has not been conclusively established as yet.He was made Prof.Incharge(Office Administration) almost two years ago and almost all powers of the serving registrar were delegated to him.He exercises tremendous powers this way and keeps harassing faculty & other staff if they do not bend before his will or do not support sanjeev saxena.He has also made wealth worth millions and is the proud owner of very costly land in and around bhopal.He owns land at some very prime locations and dabbles in stock market on the strength of his newly found wealth.To make him even more powerful,the registrar has suddenly been retired recently and a dummy called R.K.Dwivedi has been given this responsibility.This man R.K.Dwivedi is a lecturer and joined the college as an Asstt.Workshop Suptdt(a post equivalent to lecturer)when he was not even an engg graduate.He was a mere diploma holder and completed his part-time B.E.from SATI,Vidisha.How competent this guy is and how suitable he is for such a sensitive position,anybody can understand.His job will now be to act as a cover for R.K.Baghel who is very corrupt & unscruplous.R.K.Baghel acted as a "Dalal" for sanjeev saxena during the recruitment process and was awarded with a free selection for his brother inlaw Alok Singh (Baghel).
(4)S.P.S.Rajput:He is an Asst.Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engg.He acted as the "Dalal" for Sanjeev saxena for the Deptt.of Mechanical Engg.when the recruitment process took place in 2005.He collected money from a number of guys and passed it onto sanjeev saxena.These guys were eventually selected in the department of mechanical engg and almost all of them like R.S.Rana,Vishal Parashar,Amit Sohane,Akhilesh Soni,etc. are passouts of substandard private engg colleges of gwalior & bhopal.To reward his dalali skills,his younger brother and a real nincompoop called sarvesh pratap singh rajput was accommodated as a lecturer in the deptt.of civil engg in the same process and was selected as a "free seat" candidate.Rajput was further rewarded with the post of Prof.Incharge Security.His job is to ensure a smooth run for sanjeev saxena's illegal activities in the campus.He collaborates with sanjeev saxena's man Manoj sharma who supplies security personnel to the college under Eagle Security Sevices.This man Manoj Sharma was jailed last year due to a security scam but came out soon.He supplies almost 120 security personnel to the college on paper but in reality only about 80 odd personnel are serving.So the coolege is paying for 120 personnel and getting services of 80 personnel only.Who are the major beneficiaries of this is anybody's guess.Rajput has also made lots of money through these corrupt practises and has invested heavily in land,houses and stock market.
(5)Sanjay Soni:An Asstt.Professor in the Deptt.of Applied Mechanics.This guy is Prof.Incharge Stores.He controls all purchases in the college and religiously passes on money to sanjeev saxena.He has been instrumental in the purchase of many useless but very costly machines that are lying waste.But the idea was never linked to the technical requirement of the college.It was always linked to making more and more money by purchasing as costly machines as possible.He has also become very rich in the last few years.
(6)Junaid Rahim:He was serving as a lecturer in Sanjeev Saxena's college Radharaman Instt.before joining this institute in 2005.He was a mere engg graduate with hardly anything to show upon otherwise also but was inducted due to sanjeev saxena's clout.Immediately after his joining,he was made Prof.Incharge Construction.Can anybody explain how such a junior guy who was having a probation period of two years before being confirmed could be assigned such an important responsibily?His job is to ensure smooth functioning for all construction projects handled by Sanjeev Saxena's S.S.Constructions.He clears every construction related file without any delay and with his eyes closed.Additionally he has been rewarded with the post of Coordinator M.P.Step.To make him free from other load,this guy has never been allotted classes over the past two years and has been given a Type-4 house for his excellent contribution to Sanjeev Saxena's cause.He is also the muscleman for sanjeev saxena.
(7)Mrs.Archana Saxena:She is Sanjeev Saxena's real sister.Was appointed in 2005 as an Asstt.Librarian and was immediately made the Incharge Librarian.She was a housewife before joining the libary of this nationally renowned institute.Her job is to eat money in all library deals and to ensure that all books are purchased through a notorious bookdealer of Bhopal Ajay Publishers & Distributors.She also ensures that books ordered for MANIT library reach the libraries of Sanjeev Saxena's institutes(RIT and REC)whenever there is an inspection there by any AICTE or technical team.The poor students of MANIT may not be having access to important books because Radharaman is the top priority for her.
(8)Ms.Anshu Gupta:She is Sanjeev Saxena's sister inlaw and Aruna Saxena's younger sister.Was selected as a lecturer in the Deptt.of Architecture in 2005.Was immediately sanctioned a two year study leave for doing her post-graduation though this was against all norms.Nobody can be sent on such a leave while the probation period of two years is on.On her return back,she has been made the Warden for Girls Hostel to control them,to make them support sanjeev saxena's goons and to exploit them.
(9)D.R.Singh:He is responsible for food arrangements in the hostel messes.He makes a lot of money by providing substandard food and in turn passes money to Sanjeev saxena.
(10)V.K.Soni:His sole claim to fame is that he was recruited because he was Prof.S.C.Soni's relative.He acts as Prof.Incharge Library and does everything instructed by sanjeev saxena and archana saxena.
(11)Praveen Saxena:A big goonda and Sanjeev Saxena's younger brother.He has been allowed to take admission in a post-graduation course in the institute and by virtue of this,has been made the President of P.G.Students Association.It is not difficult to understand the real motive of him taking admission here.This way he is encouraging goondagardi in the institute.He was responsible for the latest "chakkajaam" which was nothing more than a shameless effort to protect two cuplrits.
(12)Manoj Sharma:He runs an agency which supplies not only security personnel to the instt. but other contract employees(except contract teachers)also.He not only charges his commission officially but also,the employees are made to sign on a vouchure of actual salary decided by the college but in reality are given only 50-60% of it.He is another of Sanjeev Saxena's goondas.
(13)The institute canteen:Run by a Sanjeev saxena goon.He gives substandard food items at exorbitant prices,makes money for himself and passes it to sanjeev saxena as well.
There are some junior members also.These are:
(1)Sarvesh Rajput:This hoodloom is SPS Rajput's younger brother.He is the warden for a hostel and makes a lot of money there.Besides he terrorises other faculty by his gundagardi.He used to get supplementaries in the exams when he was a student here and is now spoiling careers of students by his incompetence.Unable to speak a single sentence in english properly,this guy is teaching in an NIT,what an irony!!!!!
(2)Rishi Singh:This ruffian also joined in 2005.Was earlier serving in a private college of Bhopal.He joined after paying 9 lacs to sanjeev saxena and was selected through waiting list as he was so incompetent that inspite of saneev saxena lobby's best efforts,they could not accommodate him in the main list.He was immediately made Prof.Incharge Electrical Maintenance while still being on probation..The job is to eat and recover his "inductance money" and share the spoils with Sanjeev Saxena & Ashutosh Sharma.Runs a coaching in M.P.Nagar by the name of PIE(Professional Institute for Engineers).His focus is totally on these allied activities.Is a very indecent person who openly uses abusive language even against women faculty of the department & the institute.
(3)Alok Singh:He is R.K.Baghel's brother inlaw.He comes to the coolege in a drunk state and terrorises people by his vandalism.He is also acting as a Hostel warden.
(4)Pushyamitra Mishra:He is related to Mukesh Pandey,the registrar of R.G.P.V. and a very corrupt man himself.He is a close associate of Alok Singh.Was inducted in 2005 after paying 6-8 lacs.Terrorised a senior and respected faculty member Dr.n.d.mittal when he objected to his M.Tech.thesis being submitted.The thesis was substandard according to dr.mittal and but this guy had his way because of his connections.
(5)Anoop Arya:He is the son of an ex-MLA.He is Prof.Incharge Canteen to make things smooth for Sanjeev Saxena's man running the canteen.Another supplementary expert,his academic record in the instt.was pathetic and now he is a faculty here!
(6)Manoj Arya:Anoop arya's real younger brother.Was also selected in 2005.Works religiously for Sanjeev Saxena.
(7)Praveen Kaushik:A faculty member who handles clasees at Sanjeev Saxena's institutes during working hours of MANIT.He was caught copying while writing his M.Tech.paper in the instt.by Lavit Rawtani,Asstt.Professor in CSE.The administration promptly punished the "real" culprit Lavit Rawtani who was suspended and remained so for 8-9 months.
(8)Manish Pandey:He joined in 2005 as a lecturer with five increments.His qualification was a mere graduation from a substandrad private engg college of bhopal but more importantly,he handles classes at saxena's colleges during working hours.
(10)Jagdish Singh:Ashutosh Sharma's muscle man.Was made an Asst.Professor in the Architecture Deptt.by considering his experience in a polytechnic against all norms.
(11)Abhay Sharma:A real nincompoop,he is ashutosh sharma's younger brother.Was serving as a subengineer at a basic salary of 5500/- before being inducted as an assistant professor with five increments in 2005.Now he draws close to Rs.32-33,000.
(12)M.S.Hora:An asstt.preofessor and abhay sharma's PHD guide,he is a "yes man" of ashutosh sharma.His job is to practically write the complete PHD thesis for abhay sharma.In return,he will be rewarded with an elevation to professor's level with abhay sharma becoming a professor simultaneously.

Though in no way, i commend this horrible pratices mentioned in the post.
Those who are crying wolf about family-ism and goonda-ism, are they blind, to see, three sisters, ganga, gayatri, gangotri and ansari, rawtani father and son, trivedi - mr and mrs, khurasia's father and daughters, kumar father and daughter, and like this the list is endless.
Today they are shouting on the roof for corruption, there was a principal called 'Dwivedi' who transferred en masse the 25-30 children of professors from third grade state engg colleges. WHAT happened to the standard of MACT then, it got elevated with those ass holes.
So if sanjeev saxena is giving them their own medicine and screwing them, they should get their own things straightened out. They are the bloody cause of this monster, who is now eating them. I want him to eat them alive.

Dear writer how can we find that you are a faculty member or a outsider ..who is just going through all conversation and put some comment at the end...If Mr or Mrs senior faculty member Can you please tell me about you...and your technical skill..as you says these all recruitment are false...so can you please tell us what should be the process and what should be the qualification..
I applied for this recruitment ..although i m also passed out of MACT and knows Sanjeev Saxena and his Brother Praveen Saxena Still i have not recruited i also offer money to them the figure you have mention earlier but they never ask for the money only they say's it should be as per process...
As i know there are some criteria to apply for the job posting..and i was not qualified for that..so i do not think that what you have written is correct..
As a senior faculty member you must have a years of experience..can you please tell all of Alumni:
1) How many patent you have in your name?
2) How many white papers you have written.
3) How many social cause you have did?
4) How many times you have personally visited to student hostel and ask about there problem and technical difficulty
5) How many times you have not utilize MACT as apne baap ka maal for ur private purpose and alloted all resources like guest house to ur relative for there personal purpose.
6) how many years (times) you have conducted session for student..to improve there presentation skill and communication skill..specially student who comes from hindi back groud..
I know for that they should know all these thing but instead of thinking for student future these senior professor think about how they make money from college..all lab ..specially civil lab they shows in loss ..because they used to put all testing money in there pocket..
6) how fluent you are in english..
i know one professor he was head of the department of Civil department and he doesn't know how to speak in english....when AICTE team visited MACT he stand up from his chair and offer his chair to one of the aicte member....this was because he was not having confidence and honesty. to show them
So my dear all people who all are keep taking in this blog..if you guys and Senior professor,have courage and all of you are innocent and really serious about future of student,college and Really want to do some improvement ....first kick out all these senior faculty member who has not done anything in there teaching life..and they are only responsible of taking college to this level...
Can you imagine how this possible some outsider who is just passed out from this college can do all such thing.....Sanjeev Saxena he was very famous in Bhopal ..he was not the only one who was Don in this college..why only his name is keep coming......this all system has made worst by these senior faculty ..now they are asking about college reputation...if they are this much serious ..why they have not done anything till now..beside writing a blog with out disclosing there name..
This is nothing but lake of frustration of these faculty....all these thing which they have written are previously done by these faculty member just have a look to all senior faculty member and there relative..i.e. Agnitry sister's.

If all of you really serious about college and student future think to do some creative ideas...

Friends,all this smacks of frustation on part of the G-group and others.These people are good for nothing but they are projecting themselves as saviours of the institute.These vultures have been eating the institute since last many years and are crying wolf now when others are doing the same.They should understand that putting a question mark on the lingustic skills of a faculty member is very mean and hitting below the belt.In any case,its the technical competence of a person which is important in technical arena,not his command over the language.And the mentioned faculty must be good at it if he has been selected by a proper selection committee two years ago.Regarding supplementaries,the marks obtained by any person in an examination is not a true indicator of his mettle.Even the famous scientists Edison and Einstein used to funk exams but they went on to win nobel prizes with their pathbraking discoveries.So a faculty might not have been a good student,might even be a below average student but may turn out to be an exceptional teacher with sustained efforts.Our culture also says that everybody should be given a fair opportunity to improve and with efforts people can improve.It is rightly said.."Karat karat abhyas ke jadmati hot sujan",so view this in that perspective.Will write more later.
These guys who are giving comments below the mail are nothing but just providing their misleading statements thanks to the blarney they are putting on to the goons of MANIT. Such comments are only going to dehort people who are courageous enough to come out of the terror and talk. I think we should be grateful to people like these who still are taking risk and letting us know whats happening behind the drapes. We need a real scrutator to find whats really happening but atleast to be honest from within, a majority of us know that the names published in the blog above are not people with clean images. This in no way makes other people innocent and one above convicts, but we need to atleast give a try for the law to take its action. With the people accussed being at the helm of the proceedings I doubt there can be an impartial enquiry done.
I think all senior professor of MANIT have no work now. All are the model of 60's. Before taking decision on Buch's report MHRD must review their decision about retirement age of professors. Before questioning other all must see themself first. I am the alumini of the institute and know very well how much they know about Engineering. They always look to promot GTs in the institute bcz they dont have much to teach in the class (In our time only one unit they use to cover). So please improve yourself first than ask to improve others.

The observations about this faculty Sarvesh Rajput are very correct and are in no way an insult to him .This is truly the level of some faculty members serving in this so-called premier institute.By the way,it is quite apparent that the comment author Krantiveer has a very sharp sense of humour.Comparing Sarvesh Rajput with Edison and Einstein is so humorous that one cannt stop bursting into a laughter.It will be better if you stop defending this guy who is 'all brawn,no brains'.We all know that not only his communication is pathetic but his technical side is also terrible.He does not deserve to be here and should immediately be transfered into an ITI in harda,chhindwara or a similar place.Such a transfer should be possible because MANIT is not following any rules these days,so the admin can bend this rule also and transfer him from an NIT into an ITI.

The whole world knows that MACT is entering into a deep abysses and the role of Mr Saxena in it.

If you point fingers at Prof Ganga,Gayatri,Ansari etc then let me tell you dear friends they may not be correct,but the current pathetic situation created by Mr Saxena has done irreversible damage to the institution.
I dont think it will take long for the International Embassies to recognize MANIT as one of the worst colleges.And probably the same image in the corporate world.
I am not talking about the Indian ITES plzzzz.... I am talking abt the niche companies.
If you cant support to make the institute a better place at least dont make a dent on your and the institutete's future reputation.
I hope that each one of us stands united in this battle to emacipate our college from the hands of traitors and fugitives like Saxena and Sharma.

Let's try to help as much as we can do in any way to SAVE our MACT. May be this process will help us to get rid-off atleast few cryings wolfs also.
It has been very true that Nepotism was always a way of life in MACT(MANIT). But even with this, atleast those appointed using family relations have some credentials. If I remeber correctly atleast 1 of the 3 G-sister got Phd. from IIT.
The time is to help the future batches of MANIT. I don't see any way without getting rid-off of Sanjeev Saxena Inc. I am hoping that lot of these crying wolf's will be getting retired in next 3-4 years. Hopefully none of us wants it again to be filled with cronies and only way to make sure that this doesn't happen is by helping this cause.

This is in response to what nitesh has written.He sure deserves a response.It needs to be emphasised that:
(1)It is not important to reveal whether the person is a faculty or an outsider,just as nobody can ascertain the real identity of this guy nitesh.It is important to discuss the issues raised and nitesh will do well to comment on them.
(2)Nitesh has written that he also applied for the recruitment process and contacted sanjeev and praveen saxena with the mentioned amount of money.May we ask why ? These two goons never had any official position of authority in the college,so why should a person contact them to get himself appointed, unless he is absolutely sure that the process is stage-managed and it makes sense to give money to these people to ensure an appointment:-).All this talk of these hooligans talking about the sanctity of the process to prevail is bullshit.Scoundrels know only one process..that of deception,fraud,violence,terror and bloodshed and these two brothers are masters of these activities.May we remind you that this goonda sanjeev saxena openly assaulted Prof.N.D.Mittal in the corridors of the college and tried to crush another goon Mohit Tripathi (alias lovely) by crushing him under a jeep? This goonda has a very bright criminal record and there is atleast one attempt to murder included amongst those cases pending against him.
(3)There is definitely a criterion to apply for a teaching position but what a person like you does not understand is that merely fulfilling the minimum eligibility criterion does not entitle a person to be called for interview or finally selected ; something which has happened in a number of cases in that recruitment process we are discussing.
(4)Regarding other questions raised by you,we agree that the research standards at this institute are below par but then this is precisely the situation at most NITs.The reason being ; even now most people do not takeup this profession out of choice.It is usually a combination of personal,family and health compulsions.So one just cannt expect much from people who never had any basic interest in teaching.Some exceptions have been there for instance Prof.Manke of Electrical Engg Deptt.who had atleast 3-4 patents in his name and was widely perceived as a very knowledgeble person.
(5)Your ignorance is apparent from the question you have raised.."how many white papers you have written" ? Clearly,you do not understand the difference between a "white paper" and a "reserach paper" which is only natural for a person like you.A white paper is a document published officially by a government or a government body to clarify the magnitude,gravity and related issues in connection with a serious scam.It has nothing to do with academic research.As a second thought though,we feel that you have unintentionally used the right word as the government will indeed have to release a white paper in connection with all scams at this institute,one day.
(6)Regarding social causes,we personally feel that if a teacher teaches honestly,it's the best service he can render to the society at large.Definitely,hobnobbing with sanjeev saxena and his goondas is not the best kind of social service,which a crony like you may be doing.
(7)Utilising MANIT guesthouse as one's personal property(will not use the term used by you "baap ka maal" as this kind of lewd language suits you people only!!)is definitely improper.Are you aware that that sanjeev saxena's goons are in fact using the hostels,guesthouses and everything in the premises for their own personal agenda rather brazenly?A simple example is a marriage that took place in the saxena household and all roads leading to the VIP guesthouse and moving away from it were blocked.
(8)Had the college admin been serious about improving the communication skills of students,they could have arranged workshops for them and could have utilised the resources available in the institute itself.Have they ever taken any initiative in this regard?The only instance we remember was when Dr.Chande arranged somebody to deliver some lectures to students for improving their communication skills.Sadly, even Dr.Chande acted in a rather partisan manner and succumbed to the temptation of inviting a retd.chemistry professor from his own institute GSITS,Prof.Bapat(a former colleague and a maharashtrian,understand the regional angle here!),who wanted to make money,pure and simple,and wasn't the best choice for such an activity.Thats how things move in a govt.setup.
(9)The HOD you are refering to was Dr.Sushil Mittal who was never very good at english but atleast he was a nice,helpful and decent man all his life.Surely,a goon like you can not understand the worth of such people who might not have been the best of teachers but were reasonably good human beings & never ever terrorised anybody in their lives by goondagardi akin to saxena & his cronies.
You have talked about some frustation on part of the senior faculty.You are right.We are definitely frustated but not because of the reasons you have cited.
We are frustated to see this goongagardi in its nudest possible form and the capturing of all resources of the institute by a select band of people.These people are not only eating money like vultures on the prowl but,simultaneously,they are depriving others of their bare minimum post-related privileges.If one has to fight to get the simplest of the jobs done in this institute and if even getting a table & chair requires one or the other form of "JUGAAD",the institute is surely in shambles and has gone to dogs.
It is apparent that those who are enjoying the spoils without deserving them will never understand this,so your reaction is quite natural & is in sync with ashutosh sharma's idealogy who has got everything (and we repeat..everything..right from admission into this institute as a student to successive appointments as a Lecturer,
Asstt.Professor,Professor and now Dean(Admin) by "JUGAAD"!).
