Message from an Alumnus
My name is Chidu and was a student of the 1995 Computer Science batch from MACT. All of us in our batch have done so well and 20 out of the 30 students are here in the US. The folks back in India are also in very senior positions. I think you should network and make the Alumni and faculty association that much more stronger.
Our batch had a brief interaction with Sanjeev Saxena in the second year when everything went down hill. We literally cleaned shop after Dr.Krishnamachar took over and things were really good in the third and final year.
I am just amazed to see the kind of power he is got today. I would have one suggestion. Sanjeev Saxena had in the second year organized a bus trip to Delhi to meet all politicians from MP to get Dr.Dwivedi changed and the only politician who refused to meet the group was Mr.Madhav Rao Scindia. I know he is no more but his Son is an MP and is supposed to be close to Rahul Gandhi. You should somehow get him involved and bring him upto date. I am not sure if we have any other chance with any of the other politicians.
Take care and good luck guys. I really wish our college can clean shop and get rid of all those guys who are professors with an engineering degree. I am working on a Ph.D here in the US and it literally takes 4-5 years to get one after so much sweat and effort. We should have set standards for becoming professors. I even see some of the HODs don't have Ph.Ds....
