Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MANIT) has conducted three days Seminar on " CYBER CRIME " , which was concluded on Wednesday. In this workshop members discussed on various points on Cyber Crime.
Dean Administration Mr Ashutosh Sharma has said in his speech that this programme will be helpful for those who are working in the field of research on Cyber Crime & Digital forensic subject.. He further informed the forum that some cyber criminals have put up blog as "savemanit " and putting wrong information on blog and defaming the prestige of the institute. Therefore this type of workshop will be helpful in stopping such type of cyber crime activity. On this occasion Prof H K Khaira, Prof R K Bhaghel , Arvind Mittal, Meenu Chawala, R K Pateria, Deepak Singh, Shweta Jain and others were present.

As long as MACT is ruled under the influence of old crooks like arjun singh and co., you will never have anything but losers like ashutosh sharma ruling the roost. C'mon guys, it is totally upto the folks who love this institution to rally in support of savemanit and make enough noise so that the criminals like sharma will be kicked out.
Dr.Ashutosh Sharma & Company has blocked this site as well as the mails of faculty members are read by him. Several mail ids are blocked now. Every one can understand which one is cybercrime. The faculty members of his disliking are not allowed for free expression of their thoughts. Only Gunda-Raj is working in the campus.
If they are blocking certain email accounts and not all, it is a case of discrimination. If they are reading someone else's email, it is a case of violation of privacy.
If they are blocking access to this site, that is case of violation of freedom and right to information.
If they are preventing to express your opinion, that is violation of freedom of speech.
All of these being without cause constitute to abuse of authority, and a serious punishable crime.
Even if they were not doing anything wrong, which is being claimed on this site, they have no authority to do any of the above stated.
Anyone with a proof that any of above is being done can file a case for violation of their rights. That case would have nothing to do with other activities going on there.
One thing I always fail to understand is how can someone doing all this live with themselves. What do they do when one day their children realize that their parents are petty thieves. Stealing money, stealing other eligible candidate's job, undermining other's freedom. Or maybe, these people were never taught moral values by their parents. And they may have very well skipped those teachings for their kids too.
