Well-wishers of MANIT are eagerly waiting for the action from MHRD on report of Mr.M N Buch.
Well-wishers are waiting for the action from MHRD so that MANIT again gets image back.Present and Ex-Students wants to see action from Govt in the institute and they have also given lot of suggestion to improve the image of institute.
After the report in Bhaskar , Ex- Students of MANIT ( MACT) not only from India but from abroad has taken it very seriously and they have put a Blog as " SAVE MANIT." This blog is very famous in the field of Technical Education system and who ever care for MANIT has put in his suggestion or remark on this Blog. Everyone feels on Blog that as of now all card of MANIT are open so Govt should take immediate and strong action to put back this prestigious institute on track. As Mr. Arjun Singh ( Min. MHRD) is from MP therefore he is also responsible for all the mess.

Proff. N D Mittal said that what ever mentioned in the report of Mr.Buch is not only hundred percentage true but situation is worest then that. Lot of EX- FACULTY members has tried their level best to set right the institute but all in vain. MANIT become the puppet in the hands of certain people. V S Thakur said that why Govt has not taken action till date when report was submitted in June 07, immediate action is required on all who is responsible to regain the image of this institute. Dr R K Patra said that present faculty members who are appointed recently will not even get the job outside so can we expect the quality education in the institute from them ?

The progress has been more than satisfactory so far and the way things are moving,they are likely to reach their logical culmination soon.It appears quite cerain now that there will be a stern action again Dr. Ashutosh Sharma, Dr. Aruna Saxena and Mr. Abhay Sharma in near future and this would be in the fitness of things.However it's difficult to understand why we are forgetting two important cogs in the wheel of Sanjeev Saxena + Ashutosh Sharma nexus.
The first one is Mr. Harish Vaidya.He was an Optel employee who jumped the ship to join MANIT on deputation when Optel was shut down. Shockingly he was absorbed as a regular employee (Deputy Registrar Accounts) at MANIT without a proper selection/recruitment procedure which is against all standard norms.He is a very immoral,corrupt and indecent man who regularly misbehaves with senior faculty of the institute(including women),the support and encouragement for which comes from ashutosh sharma & sanjeev saxena.This man had a very poor and questionable record at Optel also and had atleast one major enquiry pending against him in addition to some complaints by women staff.His appointment to the institute is purely illegal and cann't stand any judicial scrutiny if challenged at the right forums.The first step could well be collecting information about his so-called absorption by moving an application under RTI Act and then lodging a formal complaint against him to the Chairman BOG and MHRD.
The other person is Mr.Benny Abraham,formerly an Optel employee and currently sitting pretty as Store Purchase Officer(SPO) at MANIT.His case is similar to the moron above.These two men are neck deep in corruption.The second person is hand in gloves with Sanjeev Saxena. His job is to collude with suppliers recommended by SS and eat money in every deal.His so-called absorption is also illegal and liable to be cancelled if challenged in a competent court.
We need to challenge their illegal absorption in this institute immediately.These parasites from Optel are eating MANIT like hardcore termites and should immediately be shown the door.

There are few more updates for all of us and,belive me,they are quite interesting and important as they bring to light the fact that this Sanjeev Saxena-Ashutosh Sharma nexus is still defiant and trying its best to make a mockery of all standard practices & norms.
Throwing caution to the winds,these shameless manipulators have hit upon another golden way of devouring the institute money the easy way.
This time,the channel cleverly devised for this purpose is arranging a sequence of back-to-back SUMMER SCHOOLS,
euphemistically known as "Short-term Training Programs",though they should actually be termed as "Short-term Draining Programs",as the money allotted by the institute is sure to be drained away by the members of this infamous SS-AS Coterie.
The apparent intention of such schools at good institutes is to encourage dissemination of knowledge,help develop an effective contact network of faculty/academicians/domain experts/researchers across the country and encourage exchange of ideas,but then this is why such activities take place at other institutes,not at a visibly dilapidated institute like MANIT which is severely crumbling under repeated,intense onslaught of a lethal contact-network of monsters; hell-bent on eating maximum amount of money in the shortest possible time.
Understand that in the name of organising such schools,every Coordinator-Cocordinator team(should better be called "Coterie")has got a huge amount of Rs.8.5 Lacs and it's not difficult to understand that this is truly where the real interest of such people lies in.
The mere glimpse of this irresistible,mouth-watering sum of Rs. 8.5 Lacs per school was sufficient for all these money-driven people to become hyper-active and lucidly explains why all non-academic people,who are either relatives of or the agents of Sanjeev Saxena or the relatives of these agents,have taken a keen interest in this supposedly academic activity.
If you carefully analyze the approved list,you will notice that not only these people have got all what they wanted,they have also ensured that no one else got a chance to organize such a school for its real & intended purpose,that is..spreading knowledge.
It was quite recently that the institute invited proposals for arranging such STTPs in the institute.Incidentally,this was the only stage that was(apparently)transparent in this process.
Out of the 19 proposals submitted from unsuspecting faculty,the institute approved 08 "worthy" proposals on the basis of a now well-known merit criterion,you can easily understand the "Sanjeev Saxena Certified Worthiness & Merit Criterion" here.For this,one had to be a relative of Sanjeev Saxena or one of the loyal & committed agents of Sanjeev Saxena or a relative of one the agents of Sanjeev Saxena.
The approval order bears the signature of that famous insurance agent of 1980's and 1990's Dr.H.K.Khaira,who has stopped his flourishing insurance business activity barely few years ago because now he has access to huge funds(pouring in as World Bank Funds)in his capacity as Dean(TEQIP).
The "worthy" persons who have got their schools approved are:
(A)Dr.Aruna Saxena(Wife of Sanjeev Saxena)and Ms. Anshu Gupta(Sister-in-law of Sanjeev Saxena):
These faculty members have an all-too-visible halo around them and are truly amongst the most venerated ones.It can never happen that they show interest in something and their wishes are not granted by an always-so-caring and considerate institute administration.
You need to realize that,at MANIT,the surname Saxena has got a distinct "Negative Midas Touch".Just as that legendary Phrygian King Midas had the power of turning everything he touched to Gold,in a similar way whichever resource of the institute these people lay their hands on turns into Pure Gold for them (and Sand for the institute as you can understand!)that immediately disappears without a trace into their always-so-overflowing coffers.
Unfortunately,no proposal could be submitted on organising an STTP on Library Science or Modernization of Library,else Mrs.Archana Saxena(the Sister of Sanjeev Saxena & the undisputed owner of Institute Library)would also have got a sum of Rs.8.5 lacs approved.Anyway,this is not the end of the road.A school on library science will surely take place in near future with the generous blessings of institute administration,after all the institute has still some way to go before becoming bankrupt..atleast financially..morally it became bankrupt long ago.
(B)Dr.K.R.Pardasani and Dr.Namita Shrivastava:
Have you ever noticed that the Department of Mathematics is organising atleast 4-5 schools / workshops on virtually the same themes every year and Dr.Pardasani is an integral part of all of them ? Have you ever wondered why ? Why this one name always figures in every school organised by the Department of Mathematics or the Department of Bioinformatics ? Is it because Dr.Pardasani is a highly acedemically inclined person or there is something more to it than what meets the eye ?
Well..no need to tax your grey cells.Understand that every such venture is a money-making opportunity for Dr.Pardasani who is always more than eager to grab any such money-making opportunity.Whosoever be the co-cordinator,this man is an expert in putting all those crosses in the tic–tac–toe money game played in the name of arranging a supposedly academic activity.
The schools are attended by a number of internal candidates on paper but,in reality,most of these bozos are found rubbing shoulders with outstation participants only during the tea breaks / lunch breaks / dinners,etc.,and Dr.Pardasani has no issues with all this as long as he is able to make good money through frivolous vouchures and fictitious expenditure heads.
Since this cagey person is unable to earn much through coachings and tuitions these days(earned a lot at one point of time) because of his age & consequent poor fitness and,more importantly,because of a very stiff competition given by that new coaching expert in his department Manoj Jha,he compensates by organising all these schools,workshops and seminars.This money-sucker is well-known outside MANIT also for his conduct which is full of obvious absurdities.
(C)Dr.V.K.Gehlot and Dr.S.K.Mittal:
Do we need to remind you that this champ of crass flattery Dr.Gehlot is an important cog in the wheel of the corruption cycle set in motion by the SS-AS nexus ? This morally & intellectually bankrupt pygmy,with a Mechanical Engineering degree,had been the Construction Incharge(read "Corruption Incharge") in the past and had always been known to be a very corrupt man.This toady is easily amongst the groggiest persons around & widely acknowledged as one of the most famous maney-eaters.You can call him a senior version of Pushyamitra Mishra and going by his undeserved growth without talent,even a guy like Pushyamitra Mishra can aspire to become one of those innumerable,undeserving,worthless Deans;one day.
And Dr.S.K.Mittal is not as naive as he has constantly tried to project all through his life.He may sound stupefyingly innocent whenever he speaks but beneath the exterior of a simple,good-hearted man,lies the desire to earn quick money,whichever way it comes.So it's not surprising to see him join hands with Dr.Gehlot,after all they have the same unifying bond..money and more money.The means are not important,the ends are!
(D)Dr.A.K.Shandilya and Dr.Shailendra Jain :
Dr.Shandilya is a known Sanjeev Saxena man and a cringing sycophant of institute administration.Always toadying to his "Boss",he wanted to become the Director of UIT RGPV on the basis of Sanjeev Saxena's support and was tantalizingly close to fulfill his unrealistic dream.He was put Second in the Selection List.The first candidate was sure to take up another more lucrative opportunity within few months after which Dr.Shandilya would have gone on to become the Director & would have acted as a sincere,committed and dedicated agent of Sanjeev Saxena.Unfortunately,the topsy-turvy turn of events at the MHRD level saw to it that nothing happened on that front,so Dr.Shandilya could not achieve what in any case was incommensurate with his ability.Destiny,they say,has its own subtle way of showing people their real worth & capability !!!
Dr.Shandilya is also famous for his ignominous exit from a Private Engineering College at Gondia where he was sacked because of proven financial misappropriation of funds.He also tried to eat the maximum possible money in the shortest span of time as the Director(M.P.STEP).
(E)Dr.(???????)Sanjay Soni and Mr. Pushyamitra Mishra:
How academically inclined these two guys are,anybody can make out.
Since when Mr. Sanjay Soni became Dr.Sanjay Soni ? Probably some of us do not understand that joining a PHD program or keep pursuing it for many years does not entitle a person to attach this coveted word "Doctor" before their names.Everybody in the institute is aware of the fact that he has been enrolled in a PHD program and working on it(really?Well,on paper only!)for the last 10-12 years under the able guidance(???)of Dr.G.Dixit(Head,Deptt.of Applied Mechanics)and is unable to complete it because,make no mistake,he has no time for any academic activity simply because academics are not as rewarding as certain other activities.And it definitely makes sense to exploit a money-making opportunity to the hilt because such an opportunity(read Sanjeev Saxena)knocks at your door only once.
Most of his time is cruelly eaten by those money-making activities which he does with great devotion and immense sincerity in his capacity as Prof.Incharge Stores and the rest of the time disappears in those now-famous booze parties at his room/in some other institute room/outside the institute with many identified,like-minded creatures.
The irony is that he is the same guy who,had he been in any other institute,would have been severely punished for his now well-known booze and vandalism NASA performance but he has actually been rewarded for his disgraceful acts.His morally despicable behavior and the lust for making easy money is there for every one to see.
Regarding the other guy Pushyamitra Mishra,everybody knows his credentials and potential or,more correctly,the lack of potential.He was selected in that scummy stream of vile employments in 2005 and his three year performance in this institute speaks volumes about his lack of aptitude and attitude.
After joining this institute in that "Great Indian Selection Circus of 2005" at MANIT,this guy has proved it again and again that he is just not fit for joining even a decent school and the only colleges which may accept him,albeit grudgingly & under pressure from the Registrar of a University,will be Saifia,Benazeer and Ravindra,at Bhopal.
Here is a list of the known famous deeds of this bloodsucking annelid worm for the last three years:
(1)He was involved in a very dirty "street fight" with some fruit vendors,along with Sarvesh Rajput(another ill-bred bozo),and was beaten black & blue by the fruit vendors who resisted the hooliganism of these two scoundrels.
These two so-called faculty members had to be hospitalised but tried their level best to politicise the issue & even involve students of this institute in this cheap brawl.The issue got reported in all famous newspapers of Bhopal and added to the already existing and much-publicised "bright" reputation of this institute.
(2)He has absolutely no interest in anything even remotely connected to academics and is all at sea in the teaching department.The only interest he has is in eating money through one or the other kind of jugaad-found opportunity.
He copied a workshop manual written by another buffoon Mr.P.N.Mishra(retired Workshop Suptdnt of this institute and now a close relation of our very own Dr.H.K.Khaira)and got it published under his own name,his pal in every crime Alok Singh(a famous drunkard,better known as the brother-in-law of that infamous character Mr.R.K.Baghel whose caste cerficate and PHD thesis are equally controversial)and his co-brother and a very corrupt manipulator Mr.Mukesh Pandey(the registrar of RGPV).Then these three clowns saw to it that this manual actually got adopted by a number of private engineering institutes because of the pressure exerted by Mr.Mukesh Pandey,a clear example of blatant misuse of official power & position.
(3)He was also a "Star Performer" in that "NASA Hooliganism Show" wherein a number of drunk faculty members(including the Coordinator for this school Mr.Sanjay Soni)created complete ruckus in front of thousands of students from different corners of the country and went to the extent of misbehaving with / terrorising girl students.
(4)His M.Tech.thesis(under a very popular B.Tech.,M.Tech.and PHD Guide with a well-known,soft human touch,Dr.V.K.Khare,whose popularity on this front is not difficult to understand & is in close competition to another luminary Dr.Susheel Shrivastava's popularity)was found to be sub-standard by the Post Graduate Course Coordinator of the Department of Applied Mechanics,Dr.N.D.Mittal,but he got it cleared by his pressure tactics and openly threatened a faculty as sincere & committed as Dr.N.D.Mittal.The fact that Dr.Mittal was a very senior faculty was of no significance to this guy with no values.
(5)He saw to it that his wife joined the Department of Management Studies as a contract faculty,another example of the all-pervading nepotism and jugaad in this institute.He is nothing more than an obsequious flatterer who gets things done by sycophancy of the highest order.
(6)The guy just can't speak in English for 2 minutes(120 Seconds flat,in case he requires this conversion also,not too sure if he knows even this!)at a stretch and we all understand that the language of interaction & transfer in all such schools is English.Ofcourse,he has a specialization but his domain specilaization is a language full of dirty abuses(in Hindi)but perhaps(?) the institute just can't allow him to deal with the respected delegates in that language,so we have a problem at hand even before the start of this great academic entertainment show at MANIT.
(7)This guy is a Mechanical Engineer with an M.Tech.Degree in Engineering Materials and Mr.Sanjay Soni has got the same degrees.And ironically these two persons(one being a faculty in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and another in the Department of Applied Mechanics) are organising a School on Industrial and Production Engineering.
Isn't it even more hilarious that the Co-cordinator for this school is Mr.Neeraj Tiwari,who is a Civil Engineer with M.Tech.in Stress & Vibrations and who has absolutely no connection,real or imaginary, with Industrial & Production Engineering ? If you recall that this guy is one of the most famous Sanjeev Saxena's men,you can understand why and how this clueless braggart,with a Civil Engineering degree & many years of subsequent unemployment before joining MANIT due to Sanjeev Saxena's "meharbaani" in 2005,can become the Co-cordinator for an STTP on Industrial & Production Engineering ?
(F)Dr.S.P.S.Rajput and Mr.Alok Singh:
Those who have been following the events at MANIT closely must be remembering Dr.Rajput as one of the most shameless & visible agents of Sanjeev Saxena in the MANIT campus.
This bully acted as an agent of SS in that now infamous "Rozgar Mela" of 2005 at MANIT,whose chief architects were Sanjeev Saxena & Dr.Ashutosh Sharma and whose participation fee was "Rs.2 Lacs to Rs.10 Lacs",with the exception of some "free" and some "management" quota seats(most of the free or management quota seats were by one or the other compulsion as you can understand).
Since this repellent farcical character acted as a siphoning agent for the Department of Mechanical Engineering,he was rewarded for his efforts by inducting his well-known "no-one-can-doubt-my-stupidity brother Sarvesh Pal Singh Rajput" as a faculty in the Department of Civil engineering as a "free candidate".With this one horrendous selection,the Civil Engineering Department(and the institute itself) got unquestionably doomed for close to 35 years.
Dr.Rajput is the Security Incharge of the institute also,a post which has come his way courtesy his reporting head Sanjeev Saxena and in this capacity,he makes things easy for SS in the campus.He also passes money regularly to SS because on paper some 120 odd security guards are deployed in the campus,in reality only 75-80 are appointed,so the institute pays much more than what it should.The extra money goes to SS,Manoj Sharma(Eagle Security)and S.P.S.Rajput.
It is not surprising to note that this leech Dr.Rajput has got "easy money" worth Rs. 8.5 Lacs from the institute.Most of this money will vanish through thin air if one goes by the tendencies exhibited in ample measure by Dr.S.P.S.Rajput over the past many years.
Incidentally,Dr.Rajput has got another largesse of Rs.3 Lacs from the institute for the "apparent" purpose of attending an International Conference in United States of America. Everybody is aware that the academic interest of Dr.Rajput is limited to his coaching at M.P.Nagar & at Madan Mahal College(Subhash Nagar).Other than this,he has hardly any interest in any other academic activity but if he gets an opportunity to embark on a "pleasure trip to USA at college expenses",why not? Do not be under any illusion,this guy is akin to an arboreal monkey who will frequest different trees at different points of time to fulfill his own selfish interests & lusty desires.
And Mr.Alok Singh..Well,this absurdly inept guy has all the interest in everything that is non-academic in nature.Was another star performer in that NASA Ruckus Show and escaped punishment because he happens to be the brother-in-law of Mr.R.K.Baghel.This grotesquely dressed jester in the MANIT circus has proved beyond doubt that the nano-thin covering of a faculty position does not take the sheen away from ludicrous figures whose cheap acts are ample proof of what lies in store for this institute over the next 30-35 years.
He is in the same MANIT Premier League(MPL..on the pattern of IPL)as Pushyamitra Mishra(jugaad-par-excellence,has an exceptionally high Jugaad Quotient and an abysmally low Intelligence Quotient),Sarvesh Pal Singh Rajput of Civil Engg. Department(all brawn,no brains,the most shining example of rigging in that SS-AS hosted "rozgar abhiyaan" of 2005),Hariya Lal Tiwari of Civil Engineering Department(another amusingly laughable character who has added a hitherto unimaginable depth to the expression "pathetic teacher"),Neeraj Tiwari(a presumptuous character with a distinctly visible liking for effrontery),Rishi Singh(a tipsy gorilla in the skin of a human being,well-known for his incongruous behaviour and manners),Manish Pandey(the Rishi Singh of the Department of Computer Science,a heavy-built character made up of pure ticky–tacky stuff),Praveen Kaushik(another sleazy faculty who was caught copying in his M.Tech.exams by Mr.Lavit Rawtani and who later saw to it that a faculty as sincere as Mr.Rawtani was suspended for his impudence(?)),Jagdish Singh(that famous shoddy character in the Department of Architecture who,as a student,did something as outrageous as stealing some instruments including ammeters,voltmeters and few CROs from this very institute's labs and was later caught red-handed by police while trying to sell them off at throw-away prices in old bhopal),Junaid Raheem(a blustering browbeating person,the muscle-man & undeclared full-time bodyguard of Sanjeev Saxena serving part-time in this supposedly government institute,the most glaring example of bumptious impudence,complete lack of propriety & insolent rudeness that is so typical of all Sanjeev Saxena loyalists),S.P.S.Rajput(a perpetrator of all filthy acts of corruption one can imagine of),R.K.Baghel(the bonobo with a perpetually scheming,negative mindset and an atrocious belief that MANIT is his fiefdom & everybody is destined to bow before his will),etc...all of whom are well-known agents of SS and characters obnoxious to the core.
(G)Dr.Qureshi,Dr.Malik and Dr.Fouzia Z.Haque : Nothing much to comment on this School on Nano Technology as people are intelligent enough to remove the Nano-layer of mist surrounding the approval of this program and understand why this course has been approved and why this course is happening with a seemingly rich count of as many as three coordinators.
(H)Dr.S.Rangnekar:Again nothing much to comment.Apparently,Deans are the most capable & eligible people to apply for a course and get it approved too !
This institute has well and truly become an insane asylum of mentally & morally banrupt people on one hand and a highly significant number of frustated,inactive,lethargic & spiritless people on the other.
We just can't expect anything from the sycophants or self-serving people;be they juniors,middle-level or seniors.No point arguing with them that falling at the feet of crass,craven "Celebrities"/"Bosses" is extremely self-deprecating,to say the least,as these people are well-aware that they can't rise a bit in life on the basis of their ability (do they have any?)and hard work.Even if those "Bosses" treat them like scum without batting an eyelid,it's fine with them because that's their only passport to some growth on the success ladder.The only wayout to deal with these people is to knock the stuffing out of their lifeline..the SS-AS nexus..then only you can expect a change, primarily inflicted by compulsion.
It is actually more difficult to understand why sensible people are silently tolerating all this(there is no reason to believe that this institute has a dearth of sensible,right-thinking people) ! Why no voice of reason & protest is heard ? Why most such people develop butter fingers and frayed nerves when it comes to lodging a perfectly legitimate protest against a regime working on twin principles of injustice & favouritism ? Why they do not even respond to an inherently brazen assault on their sensibilities and do not rise from their apathetic slumber inspite of a cycle of rude jolts ?
True,to raise any issue,one requires courage and propriety as well.Unfortunately,many of us are either pure opportunists,unable to think beyond our own selfish,petty interests or do not have even an iota of courage to atleast formally lodge a protest.To make it worse,some of us have the courage but lack in propriety and that's the basic reason why the institute admin does not take such protests seriously and brands such people as eccentric & mentally derailed.
Unless we come out of our shells,nothing will change and even God will find it difficult to stop the unabated defilement of this institute and to effect a turnaround,partial or complete!
