Whatever is going on is really bad. i passed out last year and this would be right to say that whatever happened when our batch was there. When we joined the college Dr.P.K.Chande was new director at that time. Everything was going well. Ragging, corruption every-thing was in control and even after being form a ragging prone state. i did not face any physical ragging. Even education standard improved those days because Mr. Chande tried to make it open for everyone. Then something happened in center and Mr. Chande was gone. The news came on all the channels and we were really sad. Then started what you can the era what can be called as worst ers for college.
Then Dr. Syan became the acting director. To quote one event he came to hosel no 4 when i was in second year and he asked is this the hostel of third year. What can you expect from such a person who don't know where his students live. Mr. Chande came to meet us almost everyday when we were in first year.
Then i heard the the name our biggest name a black spot on our college Mr. Sanjeev Saxena. I sware i never heard of this person before that. He got all the contracts. People praise him like anything. Mr. Rajpoot is a big fan of Mr. Saxena. then everything started to go haywire. We had a gneral ragging in second year which did not happened in first year. You should have jugad to get things done after that.
By the time i was in third year. I think the new recruit was done in this year. They recruited people like Junaid Raheem, Bro of rajpoot and so many of siblings and relatives of previous faculty. If you want to know anything about these guys just be at mata mandir at evening and they will be standing with some of your so called "Don" friends. i remember one day i was there and Mr. sanjeev Saxena came there all people rushed to him. Sanju boss!!!........some of then fell to his feet.really shameful. Felt like he is GOD or what.
On those days G.T. was very often. Sometimes when you are in the class profs. is not coming to the class or sometimes this new recruits. What will they teach you if they do not know anything. I can teach far better than they teach so the interest in studies was gone. Papers for major exams was available for them. I remember mechanical and I.T. people getting papers on the eve of exams.
Then started out Campus Placement. Against our all expectations Mr. M.K> Gupta was demoted and new TPO was Aruna Saxena. This woman does not have any manners at all. How can she talk to any corporate person at all. Once i remeber she called to HP and said -"we use your printers" that is how she knows the companies. Once my friend got no of Cisco by his friend and asked it call this company. that woman said i don't know the company and did not call it. TCS was the first company. People say that they took bribe also for that. I don't know how much is truth in that.Then again all the bunch of mass recruiters and at the end they posted the flag this year campus was great. The same companies recruited from LNCT(a private college of bhopal) and in same amount. Now i am in corporate world and i know that companies wish to go but all you need to di is call them at least. We deserve far better campus than we got.
Then we were in Final year. So these we had habit of all the things. Fees shot up by 8k Rs. p.a. but this could be justified. By that time we had got our new frak director " Dr. K.S. Pandey" want to know his full name just visit his office. You will hear so many stories about him. This guy is complete insane and a puppet in the hands of saxena. He will always emphasize on dress code etc. never on studies. In seventh sem i remember i attended only one class of one subject and very few of others.
then came the eight semester and the monster installed by college MIS. they spend a lot of money on that just to make sure that you attend all the classes. Anyway we attende all the classes in last sen. Then came the convocation. It was said to done after the sem exams. but nevertheless as usual it was postponed.
There end my college days.
Infact it is good to see that these news came to papers.

i am a passout of 2001 batch in mechanical trade. I strongly condemn the indescent remarks on Rajpoot sir. He is one of the best faculty in mechanical engineering, if you have any doubt please contact any of the seniors.If you find rajpoot sir not a suitable faculty member , then please let us know whom you think will be a better professor in MACT.
you also mention the name of Juned raheem in the hit list. He passed out in 2000 year in civil trade. When he completed his degree Mr. Chande is the director of the institute and as per your comments Mr. chande has ended corruption in the college. Juned has scored 78% marks(genunine one) and also scored 98% score in GATE exams. He joined IIT Roorkee for M-TECH course.He is selected as a faculty member because of his good academic records. also none of his relative is working in MANIT.
Please think twice beore degarding the image of such peoples.

I just happened to see this comment made by an anonymous alumnus in connection with some comments made about a Mechanical Engg.faculty Dr.S.P.S.Rajpoot.
Obviously this anonymous guy does not understand that nobody has commented on the teaching ability of Dr.Rajpoot.The only thing that has been pointed-out,and rightly so,is that this guy is sanjeev saxena's agent and is hand-in-glove with him.This trait not withstanding,he may be a reasonably good teacher.How else will one explain his flourishing coaching business,wherein he teaches students of private engineering colleges for engineering exams,along with his long-term ally R.K.Baghel,the classes for which happen regularly at Madanmahal Hotel(close to Subhash Nagar Crossing).So the comments about him should be taken in perspective.
Inspite of all this,nobody can claim that he is the best teacher because teaching is a very subjective & open-ended profession wherein people with diverse talents & equally diverse teaching styles thrive.So don't be emotional and stop little short of awarding the "Best Teacher" title to your favourite Rajpoot Sir.
Regarding Juned Raheem,the lesser said the better ! For the past many years,Civil Engineering and Architecture have been amongst the least-preferred options and those who get really poor marks in the engineering entrance examination endup being civil engineers or architects.In such a scenario,it's not difficult to imagine that if somebody is only an average or slightly above average student,he will be lapped up by teachers as others will be even worse.
To add another point,if you are truly an alumnus of this institute,you will be able to understand that marks obtained here do not always reflect the reality.You can see a number of these so-called toppers failing to clear even the simplest exams outside MANIT.
Not taking anything away from his "genuine 78% marks" as claimed by you,one is forced to point-out that nobody can be selected purely on the basis of his B.Tech.final year marks.There are so many other yardsticks like work-experience,
research publications in conferences/journals,
workshop/STTP participation and so on.And your favourite guy had none of these things.He only had some work-experience at that great engineering institution of Bhopal..Radharaman Institute of Technology whose owner Sanjeev Saxena was calling the shots in Recruitment Show - 2005.
And his GATE percentile..well..I do not blame you for your argument because you simply do not understand the difference between Percentile and Percentage as is evident from the symbol you have used.The symbol that you have used stands for percentage which is an entirely different concept and has no direct connection with percentile,which is only a relative concept.Besides,for your kind information,nowhere in the country,there is any weightage attached to the GATE percentile of a candidate.
Also,Juned did not complete his M.Tech.from IIT Roorkee and,to make it even more clear to you,there is no weightage given for any incomplete degree.
It's true that he has no direct relation working here in MANIT but his biggest relative is Sanjeev Saxena who is his mentor,saviour, promotor and true employer.
By the way,merely being an alumnus of the institute,how can you claim that Juned Raheem was selected on the basis of his academic record ? You were surely not a part of the screening committee and were not a part of the selection committee either,so it's strange to note that you can say with conviction that this guy was selected on the basis of an exceptional (?) academic record,which nobody could match when so many people, across the country,applied to participate in this recruitment process at an NIT.
So in future,never argue without reason and concrete arguments as people here are smart enough to separate chaff from grain.
An interesting parting comment though..it appears to be a very strange coincidence but your language bears a striking resemblence to the language and limited vocabulary of the mentioned faculty Dr.S.P.S.Rajpoot,
who is extremely fond of using the word "condemn" and is forced to immediately take this word back many times in faculty meetings & on other forums because he obviously does not know where and when to use this strong word,hope you will not take this as an insulting comment on his/your mechanical engineering knowledge !!!!!
