DRAFT APPLICATION UNDER RTI TO MANIT (Maulana Azad NIT)
- Provide me a copies of the "suomoto" Declarations made by your Institute as required under RTI Act 2005 as on the 12/10/2005 and first revised Declaration after 18 months. This will shows the structure of MANIT
- Provide me a copy of your Institute being Declared as Autonomous by MHRD/UGC This will confirm if MANIT is autonomous
- Provide me the details of Financial grants received by your Institute from MHRD/UGC and any other Public Authorities for the Years 04-05, 05-06,
006-07 , 07-08 To establish that MANIT is governed by GOI
4 Provide me the Receipts & Realizations w.r.t No 3 above.
5. Provide me Names, Address, Professional Qualification etc of All the Present
Directors, Deans, Professors, Head of the Chairs, HODs Who do not Find Place
In item viii &ix of the Declaration as requested under point No 1 above. This shows who are not regular employees but enjoying all benefits
6 Provide me Details of all Judicial Suits, Cases which are before the Hon'ble High
court of MP and in which one of the Respondent is MA –NIT . If there are any cases pertaining to appointments / contracts
7 Provide me Details of all Cases Lodged in local or any Police Station against the
MA-NIT or any of its officers /Directors on Matters of Ragging , Molestation,
Violation of Human Rights, Woman's Rights . If there any scandals that have been hushed up
8. Provide me copies of all Orders for Enquiry which were Conducted by and with the
Directions of MHRD/UGC / Architects Council / Govt of MP /GOI,or any Public
Authority against Institute and against the affairs of the Institute for the Period
01/04/2005 to till date with the relevant References and Mandate for Conduct of
Enquiry If there are any enquiries
9. Out of Enquiries in No 8 above provide me GOs wherein such Enquiries were
subsequently cancelled by the Authorized Authority Any dilutions of enquiries
10 Is it True that the MHRD,GOI ordered conduct of Enquiry by one Mr N M Buch
( A retd IAS) officer . If So, Provide the GO , The Terms of Reference , The Name
And all other details of other Members of the Committee, The Dates on which this
Committee visited the Campus of the Institute Chronologically as Recorded by the
Institute, The Names and Designation of the Institute Officials including directors
who were Summoned, Interviewed by this Enquiry Committee.
11 Provide me a copy of the Interim, Final Report Submitted by this Committee and
Details of How the Institute Came into possession of the Report
12 Provide me the Action Taken Report Submitted by the institute to MHRD on this
Enquiry report with all Documentary Proof
13 Provide me Inspection of the File or all Files Related to this Enquiry Maintained by
Institute in this Matter. Date, Time May please be Fixed with My consultation

Whatever is going on had been going on it past too.Only reason was that we all were too busy to take care of that,And this has made what our college is today.So we all are responsible for our Chlata hai Attitude of that time.Had we stood up at that time, this situation would not have come.
Now when MANIT is having a chance to become IIT, these thing have surfaced (pretty amazing timing).And all the IT ppl had jumped in to give their valuable(?) thoughts on the topic(lot of time ..huh )
Don't u think these all things woulf hardly make any difference on grass rrot level rather than negative publicity of our college.Which would definitely hamper the prospect og MANIT becoming an IIT.
My only suggestion is to go and act don't just be a part of mob in mud slinging.
This is result of what u have done(rather what u have not done by not standing against at that time).So we should be shameful rather than feeling proud.
nice one one more thing which can be added is what is being done with the student activity fund? for the past two years have not had any events in the collrge where the use of these funds were visible doesnt the govt provide then with some funds for activities and socirtirs in the college? If yes where does the money go?
