A message from MANIT Faculty Association...
We too in our endeavour are not against any person per se, but it pains to see our alma matter go through so much of turmoil. I can proudly say that MANIT has one of the best available infrastructure, but without proper utilization and a vision to lead, all this goes waste and down the drain.
We have tried our best to be fair, apart from comments having very foul or abusive language, we have accepted all the comments, as this blog strives to be a platform for communication.
Taking a cue from the savemanit blog (your blog has indeed been very inspiring), and the terrific response of the alumni, an association of right-minded MANIT-teachers has been formed.
The MANIT Faculty Association (MFA) is committed to the following goals:
1. To save the reputation of MANIT and prevent the institute from undergoing further degradation.
2. Initiate corrective actions in the current system, and
3. Maintain the academic environment in line with the dignity of a National Level Institute.
The response to the formation of the MFA has been extremely encouraging. Association membership was signed by as many as 60 teachers within the first two days of its formation, and the members have kept adding with each passing day. The formation of association has brought a ray of hope that teachers would now dare to stand against the section of faculty who are deeply involved in misappropriation. Hopefully, the internal pressure will put brakes to the existing corruption.
The response of the administration to the formation of MFA has been on the predicted lines. The teachers who went to meet the Director to appraise him of the development, were first greeted with fury, a security guard was called to put these teachers out of the office of Director, and the letter introducing the Association was torn to pieces in front of the faculty by the Honorable Director, MANIT, without the courtesy of glancing through it.
Nevertheless, this has only helped strengthen the resolve of the teachers to remain undaunted and to seek what is morally correct. The Association hereby calls upon all of you to please support us to revive this institute. We are not against individuals, but stand united against all forms of corruption.

All the Saxena's men would be a great title of this soap opera !!!!!
I request MFA to come up with a concrete action plan draft, and declare the same. Please have a goals that can be measured and appraised.
Though i understand that it will be tough to go about implementing all of the action right now, but i guess we will have to make some beginning. If you show a ray of hope to people following up this 'chaos', you will surely get many supporters.
DO YOU ALL FEEL THAT,MANIT/MACT ADMINISTRATION IS DOING RIGHT BY CLOSING ABOUT 4-5 BRANCHES INCLUDING I.T.BRACH IN THE CAMPUS FROM YEAR 2010.
HAZARDOUS FACTORS ARE:
1.HOW THE MANAGEMENT THINKS ABOUT STUDENTS OF THESE BRANCHES??
2.WHAT ABOUT THEIR PLACEMENTS AFTER GETTING A CLOSED DEGREE IN FRONT OF OTHER COLLEGE'S STUDENTS WHILE INTERVIEWS/PLACEMENTS?????
3.WHY THEY ARE PLAYING WITH THE FUTURE OF THESE STUDENTS?????
4.IF THEIR DEGREE COURCE IS CLOSED NOW ,SO WHAT ABOUT THE REPUTATION OF THE BRANCH,COLLEGE,AND THEMSELVES .
5. IN THIS MODERN ERA ,WHILE GOVT. POLICIES ARE SUPPORTIVE TO HIGHER QUALITATIVE EDUCATION ,BY SUPPORTING THROUGH 5 YEAR PLAN,THE MANIT ADMINISTRATION IS CUTTING IT'S BRANCHES, WHY????
6.THESE TEACHERS WHO ARE PERSONALLY INTERESTED TO CLOSE THESE BRANCHES ARE ARE NOW BEHAVING LIKE BOOCHERS TOWARDS VICTOM STUDENTS.AND THEY DON'T HAVE ANY SYMPATHY TO STUDENTS AND REPO OF THE COLLEGE.IF THEIR CHILDREN WOULD HAVE BEEN STUDY IN THESE COURCES ,SO THEY WERE REALISE THAT PROBLEM.
7.THIS IS VERY SHAMELESS ACTIVITY TOWARDS COLLEGE'S REPO,INSPITE OF SUPPORT TO EDUCATION,MHRD,NIT......BY GOVT OF INDIA. IN PLACE OF ENCOURAGE NEW BRANCHES ,THEY CAN'T DIGEST THE NEW INNOVATIVE EDUCATIONAL IDEAS.
OH GOD ...LET THEM AWAKE....GIVE THEM SOME INTELLIGENCE .THEY ALL ARE AGAIN SPOILING THE IMAGE OF MACT/MANIT IN OTHER FORMATION
