Protest in Bhopal against our BLOG

Read it carefully and read it till the end. Here is a mail from one of our esteemed volunteers for the noble cause of cleaning up MACT. Please post your views for IMMEDIATE action in comments. Please do it as it has become the need of time:

"
Firstly please note that there are 5 students under remand for beating of Manager of Liqueur Shop.Presently students are on Bail to attend the exams for 15 days. The condition of Manager is critical and he is on ventilator.Students will be in remand till he comes out from critical situation which the chances are remote.

Secondly the Sharma/Saxena has arranged around 150 people and protested in front of Mr. A N Singh ( Chairman) and informed him that lot of people working against college image and they have floated the Blog( our blog) which has to be stopped immediately. Chairman has asked them to file FIR in police against our Blog.

We are getting feeling from our sources that what ever is happening in MANIT is just eyewash and nothing will happen to SHARMA/SAXENA. In this situation request we should proceed for RTI or PIL.

Your requested please think on this and advise to me or on Blog.

They can't file an FIR just read this rights of freedom -

The Constitution of India contains the right to freedom, given in articles 19, 20, 21 and 22, with the view of guaranteeing individual rights that were considered vital by the framers of the constitution. The right to freedom in Article 19 guarantees the following six freedoms:[20]

* Freedom of speech and expression, which enable an individual to participate in public activities. The phrase, "freedom of press" has not been used in Article 19, but freedom of expression includes freedom of press. Reasonable restrictions can be imposed in the interest of public order, security of State, decency or morality.

* Freedom to assemble peacefully without arms, on which the State can impose reasonable restrictions in the interest of public order and the sovereignty and integrity of India.

* Freedom to form associations or unions on which the State can impose reasonable restrictions on this freedom in the interest of public order, morality and the sovereignty and integrity of India.

* Freedom to move freely throughout the territory of India though reasonable restrictions can be imposed on this right in the interest of the general public, for example, restrictions may be imposed on movement and travelling, so as to control epidemics.

* Freedom to reside and settle in any part of the territory of India which is also subject to reasonable restrictions by the State in the interest of the general public or for the protection of the scheduled tribes because certain safeguards as are envisaged here seem to be justified to protect indigenous and tribal peoples from exploitation and coercion.[21]

* Freedom to practice any profession or to carry on any occupation, trade or business on which the State may impose reasonable restrictions in the interest of the general public. Thus, there is no right to carry on a business which is dangerous or immoral. Also, professional or technical qualifications may be prescribed for practicing any profession or carrying on any trade.

The constitution also guarantees the right to life and personal liberty, which in turn cites specific provisions in which these rights are applied and enforced:

* Protection with respect to conviction for offences is guaranteed in the right to life and personal liberty. According to Article 20, no one can be awarded punishment which is more than what the law of the land prescribes at that time. This legal axiom is based on the principle that no criminal law can be made retrospective, that is, for an act to become an offence, the essential condition is that it should have been an offence legally at the time of committing it. Moreover, no person accused of any offence shall be compelled to be a witness against himself. "Compulsion" in this article refers to what in law is called "Duress" (injury, beating or unlawful imprisonment to make a person do something that he does not want to do). This article is known as a safeguard against self incrimination. The other principle enshrined in this article is known as the principle of double jeopardy, that is, no person can be convicted twice for the same offence, which has been derived from Anglo Saxon law. This principle was first established in the Magna Carta.[22]

* Protection of life and personal liberty is also stated under right to life and personal liberty. Article 21 declares that no citizen can be denied his life and liberty except by law.[23] This means that a person's life and personal liberty can only be disputed if that person has committed a crime. However, the right to life does not include the right to die, and hence, suicide or an attempt thereof, is an offence. "Personal liberty" includes all the freedoms which are not included in Article 19 (that is, the six freedoms). The right to travel abroad is also covered under "personal liberty" in Article 21.[24]

* In 2002, through the 86th Amendment Act, Article 21(A) was incorporated. It made primary education as a fundamental right. It says that " to the children in the age group of six to fourteen years shall be provided free and compulsory education " by the state.

* Rights of a person arrested under ordinary circumstances is laid down in the right to life and personal liberty. No one can be arrested without being told the grounds for his arrest. If arrested the person has the right to defend himself by a lawyer of his choice. Also an arrested citizen has to be brought before the nearest magistrate within 24 hours. The rights of a person arrested under ordinary circumstances are not available to an enemy alien. They are also not available to persons detained under the Preventive Detention Act. Under preventive detention, the government can imprison a person for a maximum of three months. It means that if the government feels that a person being at liberty can be a threat to the law and order or to the unity and integrity of the nation, it can detain or arrest that person to prevent him from doing this possible harm. After three months such a case is brought before an advisory board for review.[25]

* Right to education by the 86th Constitutional amendment has been made one of the Fundamental Rights under the right to life and personal liberty.[26]

The constitution also imposes restrictions on these rights. The government restricts these freedoms in the interest of the independence, sovereignty and integrity of India. In the interest of morality and public order, the government can also impose restrictions. However, the right to life and personal liberty cannot be suspended. The six freedoms are also automatically suspended or have restrictions imposed on them during a state of emergency.

They can do nothing, I hope you as owner of blog are not in India, or give the blog management to some other volunteer outside of India.

This nexus can do nothing in india also, but will harass and create chaos, thats what they specialise.

Arjun Singh/AN Singh(his protege) owe it to saxena, as he manages the crowd and booth in elections.

And he obliges both Congress and BJP, he took me to a booth in Ganjbasoda for rigging the booth for current cheif minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan back in 1992.

Sometimes he is Bajrang Dal, sometimes he is a secular Congress man, as the need of the hour.
Similar he is hand in glove with police and criminals, he uses them as it suits and similarly obliges them.

They creating the scenes to file an FIR is just to scare you. I am seeing all his tactics in play, i know this, i had seen them and been thorough first hand. He is a master of mastermind, or say a case of talent wasted.

Again our pujniya gurudev's are the real culprits.

MANIT students jump into row
By Our Staff Reporter

Bhopal, Nov 1: Perturbed over the appearing news reports, finally students of MANIT broke their silence on Thursday and jumped into the ongoing tug-of-war between the MANIT director and MANIT Faculty Association.

Reacting sharply over the appearance of media reports, the students under the banner of Technical Students Association (TSA)

has written a letter, dated November 1/07 to the Chairman, Board of Governors, MANIT demanding to safeguard careers of the 2,500 students.

In its letter TSA has demanded nine actions by the MANIT administration to protect the academic standards of the institute and come out with the result in 15 days.

If no such action would be taken, students would launch state-wide agitation, dharnas and take out marches, added the release. And if required, TSA will go to Delhi and meet HRD Minister and Prime Minister of India.

TSA also demanded action by the institute authorities on nine points (for obvious reasons, Central Chronicle has decided some of the points).

Here is the reprint of the TSA's demand and letter.

Strict action should be taken against the faculty members, who are working with NGOs.

Strict action should be taken against Savita Raje, Dr Nitin Dindorkar, Tripta Thakur, Mukul Kulshreshth and Dr Gayatri Agnihotri on their alleged association with NGOs.

A detailed closed door inquiry should be made from the institute students and insincere faculty members should identified and punished

Institute should immediately register a cyber crime case against the website http://savemanit.blogspot.com/. The faculty members involved in the website should be identified.

Computers of all above mentioned faculty members should be immediately seized.

The letter has been marked CC to Hon'ble Minister HRD, Director MANIT, Bhopal was released to the newspaper offices here on Thursday.

Earlier, Maulana Azad National Institute Technology Director KS Pandey condemned newspapers report that were published in a section of media about MANIT.

Later on Wednesday, MANIT Faculty Association, President Dr Gayatri Agnihotri, Secretary Prof. Tripta Thakur and treasurer Prof Kamal Singh reacted to the Maulana Azad National Institute Technology Director KS Pandey's press note that appeared in the October 31st edition of Central Chronicle.

What is this Technical students association? They cant find any better president than Roshan Pandey, a super -supplementary holder, and look at the so called vice-president? their academic records are shameful. And they demand action against sincere faculty members whom they do not even qualify to touch feet! So, be honest and rather than harping on MANIT image getting spoilt, you must own up and say..please let us keep on sucking the blood of MANIT and all those who serve it with devotion, and please let sanjeev saxena+Ashutosh Sahrma+ Aruna saxena keep on sucking the blood of MANIT students and teachers... thats what they want actually.. anyone who hinders that, they will strike, these poor cowards. Shame on you.

This has been the trend at our MACT...

Some stupid guys are again, dancing on tunes of gundas.... just for 50 or 100 rs. this students have formed a TSA kind of stuff... yes this is true...

Dear current students... dont get fooled by this animal called Sanjeev Saxena, if he can sell off his soul... do corruption in college.. he will sell off your careers as well.... dont support him for small leisure as party at dhaba or some gunda reputation at bhopal...they have spoiled the careers of many and spoil others as well....all these corrupted people can sell off family, country etc...

So dont get involved in such circle and waste expectations of your family....you will realize this after you graduate from college... many others which have faced this situation and lost time in college before this.... do you think that people like Juned who are hired as teacher are worth it???

No.....

I meet someone early this year on my visit to india and he has telling me that people who used to do gundagardi/drinking... passing comments to girls at Mata Mandir are now lecturer at college.. shamefull...

So i am just putting up some open questions to current students:-

1- Had your brother been beaten or cheated or threated by this Gunda.. wouldnt you have hated this guy... feel the same for our college...

2- Why dont u form union and kick ass of saxena and his family....

3- Why dont u support who are working to clean MACT

4- and last but not the least... dont worry abt future of our college students..

becoz most of the people i am sure who have joined this TSA are actually gunda in their current batch and they also deserve kick on their ass...
