MANIT students jump into row

Bhopal, Nov 1: Perturbed over the appearing news reports, finally students of MANIT broke their silence on Thursday and jumped into the ongoing tug-of-war between the MANIT director and MANIT Faculty Association.
Reacting sharply over the appearance of media reports, the students under the banner of Technical Students Association (TSA)
has written a letter, dated November 1/07 to the Chairman, Board of Governors, MANIT demanding to safeguard careers of the 2,500 students.
In its letter TSA has demanded nine actions by the MANIT administration to protect the academic standards of the institute and come out with the result in 15 days.
If no such action would be taken, students would launch state-wide agitation, dharnas and take out marches, added the release. And if required, TSA will go to Delhi and meet HRD Minister and Prime Minister of India.
TSA also demanded action by the institute authorities on nine points (for obvious reasons, Central Chronicle has decided some of the points).

Strict action should be taken against the faculty members, who are working with NGOs.
Strict action should be taken against Savita Raje, Dr Nitin Dindorkar, Tripta Thakur, Mukul Kulshreshth and Dr Gayatri Agnihotri on their alleged association with NGOs.
A detailed closed door inquiry should be made from the institute students and insincere faculty members should identified and punished
Institute should immediately register a cyber crime case against the website http://savemanit.blogspot.com/. The faculty members involved in the website should be identified.
Computers of all above mentioned faculty members should be immediately seized.
The letter has been marked CC to Hon'ble Minister HRD, Director MANIT, Bhopal was released to the newspaper offices here on Thursday.
Earlier, Maulana Azad National Institute Technology Director KS Pandey condemned newspapers report that were published in a section of media about MANIT.
Later on Wednesday, MANIT Faculty Association, President Dr Gayatri Agnihotri, Secretary Prof. Tripta Thakur and treasurer Prof Kamal Singh reacted to the Maulana Azad National Institute Technology Director KS Pandey's press note that appeared in the October 31st edition of Central Chronicle.

By the way to whom this so called Technical Student Association belongs to....The president Roshan Pandey has worked as a contractor with Sanjeev Saxena and doing PG in Architecture department..Do they represent the real MANIT students??Have they raise their voice anytime against the indicated professor in the MHRD Inquiry???
I sincerely urge the student community of MANIT to come forward and represent their voice so that so called TSA should not take undue advantage.
The tsa is no representavive of the students any claims they make or any support they claim from the students is spurious and/or under duress on the part of the supporting students
a signature campaign undertaken by the so called esteemed members of the tsa was organised by providing false claims on the reluctance of some companies to come to our college the juniors being jittery about their future were forced to sign often under the vigilant eyes of certain aforementioned faculty what use those signatures are going to be put to is anybody's guess.the claim by these 'students' who owe their position and place in the college to the dark side should not presume to assume the mantle of the voice of manit

Sorry! Technical Student Assiciation is the same which were on roads to protect a faculty who got job by producing false Cast certificate? Against whome FIR is filed? Forcefully removed the students from the classes appearing in mid semester exams?
1. I had spoken to my contact, who is in higher management of Google. He shrugged this all FIR crap as rubbish, and told me to update him, if these idiots even make an application to file complaint, forget FIR, against this blog.
2. Next, i spoken to human rights worker, He told me, the same, the moment they do, voice will be raised all over.
Saxena may like it or not, surely, budhao Arjun Singh, will not like it, his name in international media, for violating freedom of speech.
3. The cop writing the complaint will be the lowest level, sepoy or something. Pl read this, make sure, you take the bribe of lifetime retirement from Saxena, if you dare to do so.
No higher up, to save his skin will do so, but higher echelons of police mafia, BEWARE!!! Once the wheels are in motion, you make sure you have job offers for security guards in Radharaman institutes of technologies.
4. I had not been able to make contact with a Supreme Court lawyer, he specialises in human rights and freedom of speech matters. If need arises, Supreme Court can be called upon for freedom of speech violation.
5. Next, and most importantly, I know there are several Alumni members who while in college remained silent spectators, due to their careers or sheer indifference, which Saxena and the corrupt faculties during that times, exploit to their core. They can act, behind their veils, using their simple contacts and simple support, for the least effort to make a difference, and avoid Pampapur overtaking MACT.
6. Another thing is, what is the FALLOUT. One thing for sure, like Saddam Hussein, this nexus is ready to go down the drain.

How it will be assured that, the next ones coming will be no corrupt, and responsible, how they keep us assured that they are doing good, and will fight this Saxena fungus and do not allow such other fungus to develop.
It bothers me to read that, Ganga Agnihotri had been DEAN of so and so, ND Mittal who is attempting for suicides now, and then others in the 'purdah' and 'burkas' and shifting mgmt loyalists, how did they let ASHUTOSH sharma flourish, and like that so many incompetent 'aulads' and 'rishtedars' of faculty flourish.

... protesting registration of FIR against two college professors
Professors and students of Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MANIT) on Wednesday staged chakka jam at College Square protesting registration of FIR against two college professors. The traffic was disturbed for more than two hours at the Square because of the protest.
Office bearers of Technical Students' Association (TSA) threatened to launch massive campaign against registration of FIR. Agitating students even threatened to cancel classes in MANIT, if the FIR was not cancelled immediately.
Interestingly, the complainant's address was furnished as 30-Prithviraj Road New Delhi, which reportedly is residence of leader of opposition in Lok Sabha LK Advani.
Remarkably, national general secretary of Akhil Bharatiya Harijan Matdata Sangathan Asha Paroche had lodged a complaint with Kamla Nagar police station alleging that the MANIT professors Rajendra Kumar Baghel and Alok Singh Baghel secured employment in the college by submitting fake harijan caste certificates. Kamla Nagar police reportedly investigated the case and found the complaint was true after which a case of fraud was registered against the lecturers.
The agitating staff and students of MANIT took to the streets against registration of FIR and culminated at MANIT College Square at 11.30 am. They were demanding cancellation of FIR registered against the college professors. The students continued the protest for more than two hours. Traffic remained disrupted completely during the two-hour chakka jam.
President of Technical Students' Association Praveen Saxena told media persons that the students would launch a massive Statewide campaign against the move and also cancel all the classes till the cops cancel FIR. He also asserted that a delegation of students would submit a memorandum to the Governor in this regard and even take the campaign to the National Capital.
One of the alleged cheats, Professor RK Baghel also held the complaint fake and said that he had already submitted a report in this regard with college administration. An SDM investigated the case and gave a clean chit to him in the previous report, he added.
Additional Superintendent of Police (new city) GK Pathak informed that the case was registered on a complaint lodged with police and if it the complaint were found to be false then the FIR would be cancelled.
I'm a final year student ....the TSA is nothing better than bullshit!!!
99.99% of the students haven't heard of it..It is the political work of the mafia.
Students (1st and 2nd year) were literally kicked out of their hostel rooms and were made to walk in a line to the insti gate and were forced to protest!!!
3rd and final year students were in the examination halls, when the glorious ....scoundrel junaid rahim and his henchmen walked into each classroom and tore every answersheet!!!
Is this what we deserve????
We need to address the MANIT students to form a union to serve the right puropse. Mr. Saxena's student union is very old.He had a very good idea of identifying some bold students from every batch and recruit them for his fauz. He use to train such students very keenly by gining them the following rights:
Right To Drink
Right To Fight For the sake of evil
Right To harass the good students
Right To harass some good faculties
We can easily identify those 60 students from MANIT who are helping saxena.
Here is an idea.
Most difficult is to change the mind of those students.
If anyone of the good students is reading this blog,please come up with a spirit to fight for the good cause.
Today,I feel ashamed on me why I didnt took this step being in college.
